If you’ve heard rumors that Duke admits off of the waitlist before May 2nd unlike most colleges, they are true! I got in a couple days before (April 29, 2022), I don’t think they’d go any earlier. It is not uncommon for them to be sending out offers as late as June, though.according to the common data set on the Michigan site, last year only 68 people got in off waitlist after 13,000 accepted a spot when offered. prior years were a higher hit rate (pre covid 400ish a year got spots off waitlist which is a good % of total class size), so it does happen, and hope it does for you this year!
